Prerequisites

  • Age Requirement: 7.5 to 15.5 years.
  • Junior Batch: Ages 7.5 to 10.5 years.
  • Senior Batch: Ages 10.5 to 15.5 years.
  • Bases Test: Basic numeracy and operational skills (able to count and recognize numbers and operations such as add-sub).
  • Session 1 : Introduction to Abacus
    Introduce students to the basic concepts of the abacus, its parts (rods, beads), and how it is used for calculation.
  • Session 2 : Understanding Units, Tens, Hundreds
    Learn the structure of the abacus and understand the concepts of units, tens, and hundreds through visualizing and manipulating beads.
  • Session 3 : Addition of Single Digit Numbers
    Learn how to perform addition of single-digit numbers on the abacus.
  • Session 4 : Subtraction of Single Digit Numbers
    Master the subtraction of single-digit numbers using the abacus.
  • Session 5 : Addition of Two-Digit Numbers
    Learn how to add two-digit numbers, understanding carry-over techniques.
  • Session 6 : Subtraction of Two-Digit Numbers
    Explore subtraction of two-digit numbers with borrowing.
  • Session 7 : Introduction to Multiplication (Single Digit)
    Learn multiplication techniques for single-digit numbers on the abacus.
  • Session 8 : Introduction to Division (Single Digit)
    Learn division for single-digit numbers and division with remainders.
  • Session 9 : Monthly Assessment
    Test understanding of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of single-digit and two-digit numbers.
  • Session 10 : Multiplication of Two-Digit Numbers
    Master multiplication of two-digit numbers using abacus techniques.
  • Session 11 : Division of Two-Digit Numbers
    Learn division techniques for two-digit numbers and solve division problems on the abacus.
  • Session 12 : Introduction to Speed Calculation
    Focus on increasing speed and accuracy in performing basic operations.
  • Session 13 : Mental Addition and Subtraction
    Practice performing addition and subtraction mentally, without using the abacus, based on the abacus technique.
  • Session 14 : Word Problems with Addition and Subtraction
    Solve real-life word problems involving addition and subtraction.
  • Session 15 : Monthly Assessment
    Test knowledge of multiplication, division, and mental calculations with word problems.
  • Session 16 : Introduction to Multiplication Tables
    Learn multiplication tables from 1 to 9 and practice with the abacus.
  • Session 17 : Speed Test – Basic Operations
    Complete quick exercises to increase speed in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Session 18 : Final Assessment
    Evaluate the student's ability to perform various operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) quickly and accurately on the abacus.
